Surgical Tech Location: Los Angeles, CA Agency: SnapCare Pay: $1,936 per week Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Contract: L&D Surgical Tech Location: Los Angeles, CA Job Details: Base Hours = 36/week Pay Rate = $46/hr (Local), $26/hr, $1000 stipend = $2092/week (Travel) Shift Type = Nights Shift Hours = 12 hrs Assignment Length = 13 Weeks SnapCare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Labor & Delivery Surgical Technologist (L&D Surg Tech) to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting the obstetrical team during cesarean sections and other obstetrical surgical procedures, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of surgical instruments and L&D operating rooms. The L&D Surg Tech plays a vital part in ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care during childbirth. Qualifications: Current unencumbered CA license AHA BLS required Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST Previous experience in Labor & Delivery or OB/GYN surgical settings strongly preferred Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the sterile field for labor and delivery surgeries, especially cesarean sections Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures Anticipate the needs of the obstetricians and surgical team during procedures Handle and care for surgical specimens appropriately Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Ensure all instruments and supplies are stocked and ready for emergency deliveries Assist with setting up delivery rooms and transporting patients as needed Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and anesthesia providers in a multidisciplinary environment Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols at all times SnapCare Benefits End of Shift Payments Medical, dental, vision, life, disability Why work for SnapCare Get end-of-shift pay through our Paymint app. Enjoy comprehensive benefits that cover medical, dental, vision care and more.
