Job Description Certification Details - LPC - LCSW - LMFT Job Details - Position: Mental Health Coordinator - Role involves planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility. - Perform functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements. Job Requirements - Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical area from an accredited college or university. - Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable job position. - Must possess appropriate LPC, LCSW, or LMFT certification or licensing in the state of California. - Minimum age requirement: at least 18 years of age. Additional Details - Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates. - Provides treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level. - Documents treatment and evaluation activities in health care records. - Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information. - Demonstrates thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques. - Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
