Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current and valid license for CST/ORT Certifications: Required certifications must be valid Must-Have: CVOR experience, General surgery/trauma/vascular experience Description: Please submit a complete resume. After-hours and weekend call is required. Shifts can be flexible, including 5-8 hour shifts, 4-10 hour shifts, or 3-12 hour shifts. If working 3-12 hour shifts, the schedule needs to be Wednesday through Friday. There is some call required, with flexibility in schedule. The unit accommodates 10 beds and has a staff of 55. There is a mix of day and night shift staff, including both registered nurses and surgical techs. The patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1. Equipment used in the unit includes da Vinci, Mazor, Stealth, and EMR - Meditech. Typical procedures performed include Open Heart, Mitral Valve, Aortic Valve, TAVR support, and Endovascular cases in a hybrid room. The ideal candidate should be flexible and a team player. Weekend coverage requires participation every 2-3 weekends, with one day of on-call duty each week. Additional help is needed on Thursdays. This position is for a vacant role.
