Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 63 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description Summary: Seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. The IR RN will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures while providing patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. Strong clinical skills and adaptability are essential. Responsibilities: Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Monitor patients for changes in condition, administer medications and moderate sedation, and support physicians during procedures. Document care and patient response in Meditech EMR. Ensure equipment and supplies are prepared for procedures. Respond to emergencies and maintain patient safety during procedures. Participate in on-call rotation (7 days per 14-day period). Key Requirements: Call required 7 out of every 14 days. Must be comfortable working in an acute care IR environment. First-time travelers accepted at manager discretion (not specified). Must be flexible and able to adapt to fast-paced procedural workflow. RTO must be discussed and approved during submission. Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel one shift per pay period. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Experience: 1–2 years of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience strongly preferred ICU or ED experience may be considered if IR-specific experience is limited License: Active California RN license (no pending licenses) Skills: Interventional and diagnostic procedure support Moderate sedation and pain management IV insertion and central line care Emergency response and critical thinking Accurate charting in Meditech EMR Effective communication and teamwork under pressure About The Crox Group A firm commitment towards bringing an impactful change in business domains enables us to explore and innovate continuously.
