Description Teledyne Imaging Sensors is an integral member of the
new Digital Imaging Segment of Teledyne Technologies. Imaging
Sensors provides advanced imaging solutions for a variety of
customers, including the DoD, NASA, prime system integrators, and
commercial customers. In the civilian space arena, Teledyne sensors
are the most advanced sensors on board the Hubble space telescope,
and they are also found on board the majority of NASA space probes
and ground based telescopes. In the DoD arena, Teledyne sensors are
integrated into several major systems for persistent surveillance,
chemical detection, and target identification, among others. We are
looking for an Assembly and Test Technician to join our Space
product assembly team! The Assembly and Test Technician works in a
cleanroom environment, performing micro-electronics assembly and
soldering for production PCBA's, cables, interconnects and camera
assemblies. Your duties would include: /n - Performing a wide
variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on
components, assemblies or sub-assemblies by studying assembly
instructions and following blueprint specifications and schematics
/n - Populating PCB's from Work Instructions, Assembly Drawings and
Bills of Material, to include Board Mount, soldering and inspection
/n - Assembling detailed and complex components by positioning
parts and sub-assemblies to required standards such as
J-STD-001/IPC 610 /n /n Required skills include: /n - Ability to
meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality
standards /n - Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed /n -
Ability to work in Cleanrooms /n - Ability to read simple assembly
drawings /n - Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures
/n - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office /n - Ability
to multi-task and work with general instruction on daily activities
/n /n Required Education and Experience: /n - HS Diploma or
equivalent, plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience /n -
Experience with soldering and mechanical assembly /n - Experience
cleaning PCB's and assemblies throughout process and after
completion /n - Experience maintaining logs, paperwork and forms
accurately, consistent with company policy and practices /n -
Experience and certification to J-STD-001, Space Addendum preferred
/n /n Citizenship Requirements: - Due to the type of work at the
facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants
