Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an
elementary school in Long Beach, CA, with an immediate start date.
This contract position offers a full 35-hour week for the current
school year (CSY), focusing on a diverse caseload primarily serving
elementary students, alongside some middle school and transitional
kindergarten (TK) learners. This role is a backfill assignment,
providing support to maintain continuity of services for students
with mild to moderate behavioral challenges. Key Qualifications:
Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working in school settings,
particularly with elementary-aged children. Ability to manage a
caseload that includes a range of ages and mild to moderate
behavioral needs. No supervision of Speech-Language Pathology
Assistants (SLPAs) required. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver
individualized speech and language therapy services to students in
an elementary school setting. Develop and implement treatment plans
tailored to students' specific communication goals. Collaborate
with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support
student progress. Document and report on student progress in
accordance with district and legal requirements. Adapt therapeutic
techniques to address mild to moderate behavioral considerations.
Location: This assignment is situated in Long Beach, CA, within an

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.53 to $72.53.
