20.00-24.00 /hour The Distance Education Financial Aid Advisor
helps applicants and existing students develop a plan for meeting
their educational expenses while attending Platt College. The
Distance Education FA Advisor assists students with the financial
aid application process. The Distance Education Financial Aid
Advisor also executes many of the steps required to secure aid
funds including packaging, verification, requesting draws, refund
calculations, file audits and entrance/exit interviews. Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities: Understanding of current Title IV, federal
and state regulations regarding Financial Aid Strong Customer
Service skills Ability to effectively communicate sensitive
financial information to prospective and current customers in an
understandable manner Credentials and Experience: High School
Degree or GED is required Associate degree or above in related
fields of accounting, finance, business, administrations, etc. is
preferred 2 years of distance education Financial Aid
