Job Description:
A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, History
(6-12).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging live virtual lessons aligned with Iowa State
Standards for Social Studies for grades 6-12
Utilize various online teaching methodologies and develop
asynchronous learning activities
Provide individualized support, maintain accurate student records,
and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably
in a secondary setting
Experience teaching various history courses such as World/US
History and Civics/Geography
Demonstrated experience in utilizing online learning platforms and
educational technology tools
A bachelor's degree in History, History Education, or a related
field
A valid Iowa teaching license with an endorsement in Secondary
Social Studies (grades 6-12) or equivalent
