Job Description:

A company is looking for a PFS Billing Specialist I.
Key Responsibilities

Process and manage all insurance claims for various payer types, ensuring compliance with regulations
Resolve billing edits and follow up on claims to ensure timely submission and payment
Communicate with patients and insurance companies to gather necessary information for claim processing

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in medical claim processing and/or insurance billing
Experience with computerized account receivable systems is required
Knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT codes, and claim forms is preferred
Understanding of various payer requirements and claim submission processes
Continuous learning mindset due to changing payer regulations
